Why join the Boys & Girls Club?

Four key characteristics define the essence of the Boys & Girls Club .  All are critical in exerting a positive impact on the life of a child:

1.         Dedicated Youth Facility The Boys & Girls Club is a place—an actual neighborhood-based building—designed solely for youth programs and activities.

2.         Convenient Hours Our Club is open after school when kids have free time and need positive, productive outlets.

3.         Professional Staff Every Club has full-time, trained youth development professionals, providing positive role models and mentors.  Volunteers provide key supplementary support.

4.         Available/Affordable to All Youth We reach out to kids who cannot afford, or may lack access to, other community programs.  Dues are affordable, $52 per year.

Enrollment per site:

OT Sloan Park Facility:  400 Members

    Church Street Site:         140 Members

How can you help?

If we are to continue to provide the quality services to our members, we need your help.  We are a private, nonprofit youth development agency which seeks support from the community at large.  You may support the Club by:

          Making an annual donation

      Including us in your will

Setting up a trust or endowment

Another way to support the Club is to volunteer.  To discuss specific ways in which you can support our Club, contact Bo Hedrick, Executive Director.
